Watched Fanaa along with my friends
Today was a great day of enjoyment. As per the plan made two days ago, we (Me, Anu, Devi, and Sripriya) decided to go for a movie. I and Anu came to college in the morning to submit the pending assignment and we tried to book tickets through phone. As per our schedule, we decided to go for the show at 12 noon. But when we called there, they told that it is not possible to book for this film through phone. Oops.. We were already behind the schedule. Devi is still in her bed. She thought that we will book the ticket and so no need for hurry. We called her and again there is problem.. she will take another twenty minutes. So we told that we will wait at palarivattom. She said ok.
We were lucky because there was no rain in the morning, compared to the last two rainy days. We reached there at 11.30 and there comes the long queue for the ticket counter.. Since the ladies’ queue was smaller, gals went there.. waiting and waiting.. and atlast at 11.55, we got the ticket and entered.
The movie starred by Amir Khan and Kajol, made by some of the best in the industry, both actors as well as the production team. We expected the best and all my friends who watched it early, told me that it is a good film. But when the film started, the first half was a little bit fast.. the story is going so fast and we thought the whole film will end in some 45 minutes or something. But when the intermission came, we were happy and we were thrilled to see the balance part.
In between we saw the trailer of Kabul Express, starred by John Abraham, and produced by Yashraj Films. Nice to c that and we fixed our next film.!!
After the movie, we were so hungry. We fixed our next destination – “ Hotel Chinese Garden”. Since the rain started again, some of our friends were unable to join us for the food. Chinese garden – is one of the good hotels in Cochin city (expensive also).
After food, we were on the way to home. Then the real rain started. Even though there was a weather warning in the morning, that there will be high winds, we never expected such a climate. All the roads in Ernakulam city was under water. First time in my life, I am driving my car in 2 ft of water. Actually I was unaware of the danger of driving a small car in such a height of water. If the engine is stopped during that time, water will flood into the engine and the whole engine will be damaged…! Hurray. I was successful in completing the trip after dropping my friends in their homes.
