The Davinci code – first day – first show
Today “The Davinci Code” released in Kerala. After long days of waiting and controversies, we were able to watch it. Today morning, I decided to go for movie, but only if there is company for it. So I called my friends, and they were ready. I never thought that we will get tickets. In the morning, I went for a meeting regarding our mini project work in Dilip’s house. He was also going for ‘Fanaa’, but in the afternoon only.
I was unable to read the novel before, and everyone said that it will be difficult to understand the movie. For me, I was unable to understand the dialogues accurately.
But the basic theme and essence is easily understandable from the visual. The author is a brilliant person. He actually found a new way of thinking in the story of Jesus. The ideas are represented in such a good manner that, even I started thinking about the whole story in the new sense. I even tried to have a glance on a high quality image of the painting.
It is a good piece of literature. Now I am having a copy of his novel in my laptop. I am going to read it. Anu told that there is some differences between the novel and the film..
My rating: Good movie to see. But u should go with a person, who knows the story. Otherwise it won’t do any good to u. Don’t get addicted to the film’s idea! It’s a fiction.
