Friends are forever.. Best friends always do magic in your life.. The same happened to me today.. March 21, my birthday. I never used to celebrate my birthday in any posh manner. Normally it ends up in giving sweets to my classmates and other friends. It used to be simple and silent. But this time, it was a blast due to the surprise party given to me by my friends.
I will explain how it happened. As a normal day, I just packed my bag and the sweets and was getting ready for going to college. Yesterday evening, my best friend Anu told me to give her a lift in my car in the morning, since she will not be able to come in the regular mode. So I was waiting in the chembumukku junction, which is nearest to my home, in my car. As soon as she arrived, I started my car and then she told that she forgot to take the gift.
I told her “its ok. We will take it tomorrow.. No probs.”
But she replied “Its in your house Anish”
“How come???”
“Ya its there in your dining table, you didn’t see???” Anu said
What the heck man? How can she enter my domain and place a gift in my room? I was astonished by that. I then turned my car, towards my home and I was totally confused. When I reached home, there is another car over there.. its Dilip’s car. Ok
Now I got an idea, what is going over here.. Some secret plan is being established. I ran into my house to see what’s going on over there. Dilip and Renjtih were decorating my house and getting ready with the cakes. They were actually hiding for half an hour outside my house, so that they can enter as soon as I go out to pick Anu..!!
Who will expect a birthday party in the morning 7.30 am in uniform to college?
Then vivek and shankar came to my house at that time. I was very happy and I can’t stop smiling since I have never seen vivek walking in the morning so early, he used to be a late comer to the class.
They brought two huge cakes for the celebrations. I got too many gifts and letters and cards. The best gift I got is the scrap book, which was written by most of my classmates during class hours without my knowledge.
My friends are the best. The excellent planning by Anu and Dilip as well as the contribution by Renjith and the presence of Vivek, Shankar and Shalu made my birthday great. They started the planning 30 days ago, but I never got a clue about that.
